About “Appearing in the All-Ages Version of KimiNozo”:
Please see the crowdfunding page for full details, but since this one’s a little complicated, we’ll spell out the conditions here as well. With this reward, you can have your name appear in the story of the All-Ages version of KimiNozo!
- Only names that do not disrupt the atmosphere of the story can be registered. Names that go against public order and morals are not allowed.
- The name’s location will be left to the discretion of the development team. It might appear as the name of a shop or the author of a book.
- Depending on the location of the appearance, only your surname or first name might be displayed.

■What is “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien”
“Kimi ga Nozomu Eien” was released as a PC game in August 2001 by âge. The game is a “realistic romance” game with the theme that “to gain what you treasure most, you have to give up on something else.” It’s one of the most well-known visual novels ever created, and had a massive influence on a whole generation of authors and creators. The game also features characters like Hayase Mitsuki and Suzumiya Haruka, who also appear in the Muv-Luv series of games, and has many parallels to the Muv-Luv series. It has been adapted into other media such as TV anime, OVAs, radio shows, and console versions. In 2008, an improved version titled “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Latest Edition~” was released, featuring enhanced graphics, added scenarios, and other improvements.
■What We’re Trying to Do with the “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien” Redevelopment Project
For those of you who don’t know, “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien” was first released as a PC game in August 2001. It would go on to be adapted to many other forms of media, such as a TV anime and an OVA series, both of which are still popular today.
20 years after its release, there are very few ways in which the game can be played, and none in which it can be played in English. Our goal with the project is to make a new, all-ages version of the game that everybody can enjoy.

Will the Game Be Available in English?
Yes, we’re planning on making an English version! At the time we send out rewards for this version, it won’t be ready, but we’ll be adding English in a later update for the download version. (The DVD-ROM will not contain the English version.)
What Version of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Will This Be Based On?
This will be a new, all-ages version of the game based on the 2008 “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Latest Edition~” version of the game.
What’s the target, and are There Any Stretch Goals?
Our target is 30,000,000 yen. There is a stretch goal at 45,000,000 yen, a new (non-voice-acted) story describing how Haruka and Mitsuki met.

ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF THE THIS GAME:
For the all-ages version of “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien” that we’re making for this project, we are planning the following:
① The game will be based on “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Latest Edition~”. Any modifications to the scenario and presentation made in order to create the all-ages version will be done with an eye towards maintaining story continuity. These modifications will be made by members of the team who worked on the original game, and they will refer to “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Rumbling Hearts~”, the all-ages PS2 version of the game, in their work. Note that the game will not contain any new images.
② We will create a new user interface (UI) for the menu screen, etc., to make it more comfortable for users to enjoy the story.
③ The game will use voices from “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Latest Edition~” and “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Rumbling Hearts~”, the all-ages PS2 version.
④ The director has decided to omit the “Dog” and “Slave” endings for a certain heroine, as was done in “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Rumbling Hearts~” when it was made into an all-ages version.
⑤ As for the Hotaru ending route, we are making the following adjustments to align with non-Japanese regulations regarding underage characters/characters who could be seen as underage.
□For the Downloadable Version of the Game
・At the point the game is made available for download on Steam, Hotaru’s ending route will not be available.
・The Japanese version will have the Hotaru ending route unlocked at a later date.
□For the DVD Version of the Game
・The Hotaru ending of the game will be playable from the beginning.
*There will be no need to apply a patch.
